Plant Mechanic

Job Summary:
** The position shall be responsible for ensuring the machine is on optimum operating condition with regards to mechanical trouble by means of performing preventive maintenance. Conduct corrective maintenance during schedule and unscheduled shut down in agreed time and budget.
Responsible also in ensuring the repairable machine accessories (e.g. gearbox, rollers) are ready at any given time.

Education and experience:

At least graduate of any vocational / technical course.

Specific Knowledge and Skills:

- Knowledge in bearing technology
- Knowledge in pumps overhauling
- Knowledge in gearbox overhauling
- With skills or experience in High Pressure Equipment
- Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Pipe fitting
- Basic knowledge in pneumatic and hydraulic
- Able to operate machine shop tools and equipment
- Drive train alignment
- Overhead crane
- Boiler
